OUR labels

The Labels

We believe that wine labels represent an incredible window of communication and conveyance with our consumers. They are the exposition, and introduction to our ethos. Our desire was to remain connected to and representative of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, its lucidity and its grandeur.

The inspiration

We commissioned a local Portland artist to bring the Audeant landscape and vision to life. After a few rounds of sketches our logo was born and her subsequent paintings brought color and vibrance to our labels as she was able to fully encapsulate the beautifully unique intersection of the rolling hills representative of our future estate property on Parrett Mountain, located high above the Willamette Valley. Like each bottling of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rosé that we create, our labels pay tribute to this magical place that we call home.

The Artist

Shiela Laufer is a painter and printmaker living in Portland, Oregon. Her work is influenced by folk art and the rural landscape of Pennsylvania where she grew up.

We saw her work displayed in a friend’s gallery in Portland, Oregon and were immediately drawn to her aesthetic. In our first conversation about working together she mentioned that she was reading a biography of Andrew Wyeth, we knew we’d get along. View her work here www.shielalaufer.com
